In Ethiopia, far too many children go hungry due to poverty, conflict and catastrophic environmental events. Over 20 million people, including many children, don’t have enough food to survive.

Imagine not being able to eat when you're hungry. For us, getting food is as easy as using our phones. But for many children in Ethiopia, finding food each day is hard, and they often go to bed hungry.

This Ramadan, we have a chance to help. We can share what we have so that children in Ethiopia can have meals at school. This means they can eat, learn, and hope for a better future.

At just 11, Kadir almost had to face leaving school to work and help support his family who couldn’t afford to provide him with daily meals.

Imagine being Kadir's age and having to choose between going to school and helping your family eat. It's a big worry for a young boy, thinking he can't learn or play because his family needs him to work.

Then, something wonderful happened. Kadir started getting meals at school. These meals did more than just fill his stomach; they gave him hope. Now, he can stay in school, learn, and dream about his future. He's happy and excited about what he can achieve.
